I LOVE LOVE LOVE how light weight this tent is, with the footprint and everything! Recently took this on a multi day backpacking trip and was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was to set up! When we arrived to our destination, a rain storm was just starting to come in. By the time I was actually setting up the tent it started to downpour. Thankfully it didn't take long to get it set up. I had read previous reviews on the need to waterproof this tent, but I didn't do a thing to it before using it, didn't even set it up to make sure everything was there. I took a chance and it paid off! Anyways, one downfall to this tent.... as you can see in the photo, I have a 65L pack. When it was raining, the vestibule BARELY fit my pack. Part of it was sticking out. I couldn't lean it up against the tent because it's a very fragile fabric. So that is my first complaint, (I only have 3) 2nd complaint would be the vestibule on the other side is only accessible through a little zipper at the bottom of the other inside of the tent. It would be nice to have access to this from the outside and more zipper from the inside. The only reason this would be handy is I have a backpacking cot which I ended up not using because it was too much of a pain to set up in this tiny tent. If I could have had another door, it would have been fine. So that really isn't THAT big of a con, but it was a little annoying. My 3rd complaint is the zipper to get in and out. There should be 2 zippers. There's 2 zippers on the vestibule, which I don't think is necessary. It would be super handy to have 2 zippers on the main door. So all in all, I am very impressed with this tent. It held up well, did great and kept me dry in a heavy downpour and was super easy to set up and is super light weight and for the price, you cannot beat it! I didn't want to spend a ton on a new tent just for me and this tent seems to fit the bill. Will update this review after using it more! When you have to carry everything you need for a multi-day backpacking trip on your back, weight matters. And the Naturehike VIK 1-person lives up to its description, a wallet-friendly lightweight 3-season tent for your backcountry adventures. The Naturehike VIK 1-person tent performed wonderfully during my time in the backcountry of Big Bend NP and on the Ouachita Trail. The material, design, and construction are equivalent to some of the higher-priced tents found on the market. And at 2.34 lbs., the Naturehike VIK is lightweight, easy to assemble, and I had it pitched in about 3-4 minutes. One excellent feature that I found helpful, is the feet of the tent poles, tent body connections, and footprint straps are color-coded to make pitching the tent easier. No more trying to figure out if you're attaching the tent poles in the correct order.Other features include an interior small mesh pocket next to the door, a tiny loop at the top of the tent to hang a lantern, glasses, keys, etc., and the ability to use your hiking poles to construct a larger vestibule. There are 3 air vents, two rooftop vents held open by velcro inserts and a short tent pole, and one on the back of the tent held open by a guy line. Keeping all 3 air vents opened, I didn't experience any condensation in the drier climate of SE Texas, even when the temps dropped below freezing. But condensation does become an issue in more rainy or humid climates, which is a common nuisance for single-walled tents. After spending a couple of days using this tent on the Ouachita Trail in Arkansas, the walls felt a bit damp in the morning, but I didn't find any water droplets or puddles within the tent. Even after a rainstorm during one of the nights. And since I'm petite, 5'2", I have plenty of room inside the tent to not have my sleeping bag touch the walls, so I didn't have the annoyance of waking up to a wet sleeping bag.A way to lessen the condensation is to leave the front vestibule open for more airflow. But be sure to wipe the interior walls, then shake off excess moisture from the tent before putting it back in its stuff sack. Then during an extended rest break, remove the tent from its stuff sack and lay flat to dry in the sun.Overall, for the price, the Naturehike VIK 1-person tent is an excellent option for budget conscience outdoor enthusiasts and I highly recommend it.Its easy to set up. The ends are color coded. The tensioners are super nice. Im 6”2 and did okay in the tent. I didn’t have a sleep pad.The vent holes are nice, 3 of the 4 nights I slept with the vestibule open and while it was a bit colder no condensation buildup happened. However on my final night I closed it to keep warm and there was build up inside that night when I woke up.It did pretty well under light rain on morning while I was out too.Overall it’s a decent tent. If I would change one thing I would have got the 2 person version.Simply the worst investment for those who want to wild camp. Super light, true. Super cool looking, true, super thin, true. Super comfortable (what really matter), not true. Not a single time after 6 months using I woke up in the morning and didn't have the whole tent with moist all around. Condensation took over at some point, even with doors slightly open, vents all open. Nothing resolves the problem and, honestly, buy a cheap one for £50 and anyone would be equally served. Super contento.Light weight but a little cheap and every morning I woke up wet from the dew inside the tent. It only survived one trip as the tent poles are broken already after one outing
